Welcome to Fatima Groups United

From the 1980’s Fatima Mansions was a byword for ghettoisation, crime, drugs and anti-social behaviour.

Today, Fatima Mansions is now a byword for success, innovation and excellence, our regeneration project is widely regarded for its high achievements and outcomes.

Through FGU’s innovation and the hard work of its staff and voluntary management - Fatima Mansions is now a community moving from being the most excluded and notorious housing estate in Ireland to becoming a model new urban neighbourhood.

The Fatima Groups United (FGU) web site tells our story and will hopefully assist those interested in the historical, social and cultural context that Fatima Mansions has within a Dublin and Irish setting.
